The Turn One airbox is mounted, forks are back from Accelerated Technologies, Radial mount billet blocks and CBR1000RR calipers are mounted but I ran into a problem with the length of the standard Braking RC51 lines being about 2″ too short each side due to the new position of the calipers. These lines will be for sale and custom lines on the way. The wiring is just hanging on there as the next step is to shorten it all down and centralize it around the engine compartment making custom brackets to fit it all. Stay tuned…

There’s a new ride joining the stable, a 2009 Ducati Monster 696 pearl white. My wife is so happy – a birthday/graduation gift like no other. Well, I guess that’s also a Valentine’s gift being Feb 14 and all. We pick it up in April.

Lots of work done this week-end! Sub-frame mounted, rearsets, Barnett clutch, Turn-One carbon snorkel, braided oil cooler lines, JB Weld on the waterpump cover and on the thermostat housing to plug the bypass hose route and enter the new front mount rad set up. You can see in a few of the photos my husky “Nikita” hanging out with me while my lazy golden retriever “Butters” would rather lay on his comfy bed – can’t say I blame him. Enjoy the progress photos.

Well, I received the engine spacers from Nick in Australia and all of the SP2 swingarm parts (pivot bolt, collars, washers, nuts etc.) from Ron Ayers so it was time to get the frame back on the engine and the swingarm in place. All the engine bolts are properly torqued and the new Ohlins shock in place. The triples are in loosely so up on the stands she goes. Here are some progress photos:
